The Larato Inner Circle for Technology CEOs

They say it’s lonely at the top. When it comes to the crunch, it’s only really you, the ultimate leader, who has a complete perspective of your business. And there are few, if any, forums where you can network with your peers in a relaxed environment and not be sold to.

With this in mind, Larato has built a forum where CEOs can meet, relax, share and push the boundaries of thought leadership. At the same time, CEOs strengthen their networks with other ambitious, forward-thinking, technology leaders. And that’s it. We organise it. We make sure the agenda meets the criteria you have set. You do the rest.

Larato’s Inner Circle is now in its second year and I’m being asked lots of questions about it. That’s why I have written this article. Some of the best ideas stem from common sense. Bringing great leaders together to talk about business with their peers was a common-sense idea that I thought would fly. And it has.

We established the forum because the UK tech sector is facing enormous disruption that is creating great opportunities for innovative thinkers.

We invite CEO’s from a cross-section of the technology industry to discuss industry best practise and build alliances. All kinds of technologies are included; AI, Cloud, Big Data, Cyber Security, IT, Transformation and Media.

We limit the attendees to the 40 CEOs who are members (invitation only) to keep it a relatively intimate affair which supports open and relaxed discussion. Meetings are held twice a year, always in a quirky, cool and creative location. Places so far have included a publishing house, art gallery and cathedral.

Members tell us they benefit, not only from sharing ideas, but also from having sounding boards operating at their level. Speakers for each event are chosen based on their knowledge of hot topics that leaders are interested in, and most start some superb group discussions.

The next meeting of Larato’s Inner Circle is on April 5th.

If you’ve got an invite, we look forward to seeing you there.

At a previous meeting we looked at acquisition strategies and what acquisitive business leaders could learn from the Romans in building empires.

The Roman strategy was famously successful and innovative yet so simple and common sense; that’s how we like to view our events.

Here is a download from that meeting:
