The Larato team is made up of experienced C-Level leaders, successful entrepreneurs and IT strategists. So often, business consultants fail to demonstrate that they can practically apply their own advice in order to deliver revenue and business growth. Not so here. We walk the walk, delivering on our customer projects with an impactful mix of theory and experience.
FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Dr Lucy Green founded Larato in 2005. She has helped a host of well-known businesses to reshape their strategies to grow their business, penetrate new markets and add to their portfolios.
A big believer in using the right data and insight in context to form impactful, executable strategies, her passion is bridging the gap between buyers and sellers to ensure that businesses profit and customers receive the solution and buying experience that they really crave.
To this end, she has helped her customers grow revenues by more than £300 million in recent years and has built Larato’s own unique data platform, regarded in the industry as the most accurate source of information for the IT and tech industry on the market.
Larato works with technology businesses and tech investors to escalate growth and develop sustainable strategies and you’ll see Lucy advising and consulting on panels and boards and the industry’s largest events.
Stephen has been a sales professional for the past 38 years but started his career ‘the other side of the fence’, training as a senior purchasing officer. The purpose was to learn what makes a good buyer and, from a buyer’s perspective, a good salesperson. Using this knowledge, he set up a technology company with one partner in 1988 which grew to become the largest and most successful of its type in the UK. He successfully exited in 2020.
The concept of win-win underpins most successful negotiations and Stephen’s training and experience has given him a hugely valuable understanding of how to achieve it. Added to this, building and steering a start-up through the many difficulties that face growing companies has given him a rare level of knowledge that can be applied to Larato and its customers.
Stephen’s real passion is to deliver true quality to every area that he engages in, understanding the challenge and pitfalls that lie ahead and working in a truly collaborative way.
Daniel is an experienced product marketer with two decades of experience working in telecommunications and IT services. He is skilled in corporate product management, product marketing and marketing communications strategy. He started his career at O2, undertaking various product and marketing roles in his 14 years at the company. He also spent 11 years at Teleware PLC as Head of Product Management. Daniel worked directly with the board on setting product and marketing strategy.
Daniel joined Larato as Principal Consultant where he applies his experience from the technology sector to support clients with their business development needs.
Customer-centricity is critical to Daniel’s approach to work, and he enjoys helping businesses to create compelling value propositions to increase growth and build on customer base.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
David has operated at C level in technology companies for the last 21 years, having previously worked with the Big 4 accounting firms. Throughout his career, David has been responsible for the sales and marketing teams as well as overseeing the buying of tech hardware and software solutions—this background has provided David with an authentic and good understanding of the relationships between buyers and sellers.
David’s role at Larato is Chief Operating Officer, ensuring the business delivers to its clients what they want, when they want and in the form they require, as well as being part of the Larato business development team engaging with prospects and clients.
David’s passion is seeing clients happy, having made a difference to their business and lives, through driving profitable growth.
